Founded in 1906, Georgia Southwestern State University is a growing public institution providing a residential, liberal arts educational experience to 2,600 students. GSW offers 40 undergraduate majors, concentrations and pre-professional programs, and 18 graduate programs. In addition to our regular programs, GSW provides unique learning opportunities through our institutes including the Rosalynn Carter Institute, the English Language Institute, GSW-I-Tech, Third World Studies, Fine Arts-Glassblowing Studio and our Child Development Center.
