The Corning Museum of Glass

The Juliette K. and Leonard S. Rakow Research Library of The Corning Museum of Glass (www.cmog.org /library) is the worldís foremost library on the art, history and science of glass and glassmaking.

Its mission is to maintain a comprehensive collection on the subject of glass, in multiple formats and languages. The Libraryís rich collections include books dating to the 12th century, periodicals, an extensive digital collection, over 20,000 works of art on paper and 190 archives.

The Library offers reference assistance to glass enthusiasts, researchers and scholars worldwide through its in-person and virtual reference services. The Library has a staff of over 20 FTE and is open to the public seven days a week.
