Faculty position in Education

About the position:
Education (Early Childhood/Elementary Certification Program): Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in early childhood and elementary curriculum and methods (e.g., language arts, social studies, and sciences), and classroom management for P-8 settings. Ability to teach educational psychology will be considered a plus.
Earned doctorate or near completion of doctorate in elementary curriculum and methods and/or early childhood. Qualifications include a valid teaching certificate, a record of excellence in teaching and scholarly/ creative activity, experience in and a commitment to diversity in education, knowledge and skills in assessment, application of technology for instruction, and effective interpersonal and communication skills. The candidate selected for this tenure track position will demonstrate expertise in early childhood or elementary teacher certification programs and preference will be given to individuals with extensive P-8 classroom teaching experience.
