Faculty position in Music

About the position:
Music (Voice - Tenor, Baritone or Bass/Baritone preferred; Soprano, Mezzo, Contralto considered): Primary duties include teaching Applied Voice and Vocal Literature, and recruitment. Other duties may include teaching Opera Workshop, Vocal Pedagogy, French Diction, General Education courses, and related courses dependent upon the successful candidate’s qualifications and interests, and the needs of the department. The candidate will maintain professional visibility through ongoing performance and scholarship. The candidate should be willing to develop and maintain a high profile in state and regional NATS and also have experience teaching musical theatre vocal technique. Doctorate preferred, A.B.D. considered. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in the fields of voice teaching and performance. RANK AND SALARY: Tenure track with rank open, unless specified. Salary commensurate with education and experience. Terminal degrees are required for all positions unless otherwise noted.
