About the position:
Religion (World Religions): Not wishing to duplicate existing expertise in Hinduism and South Asian religions, we are looking for someone whose disciplinary competencies complement current departmental strengths. Applicant should also have the ability to think theologically as well as analytically about religious traditions.
Responsibilities include teaching introductory general education courses, electives in an area of specialization, and a senior-level dept. seminar. There are also opportunities to teach in college-wide interdisciplinary programs.
Ph.D. required, along with evidence of success in teaching undergraduates and a commitment to an active program of scholarship, possibly including joint faculty-student research.

RANK AND SALARY: Tenure track with rank open, unless specified. Salary commensurate with education and experience. Terminal degrees are required for all positions unless otherwise noted.
