Project Coordinator - Energetics (FY10-15)
The College of Southern Maryland

The Project Coordinator will manage the Energetics Scholarship Program. Principal duties and responsibilities of this position are two-fold: 1) to coordinate cohorts of CSM students studying science, technology, engineering and mathematics as part of the Energetics Team; and 2) to oversee the planning, implementation and evaluation of all activities of this grant-funded project.

The work schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

College of Southern Maryland conducts background checks in order to insure the safety and well-being of the college's staff and students. The final candidate for this position will be subject to the following background checks: Criminal History Check.

Job Requirements

• Education – Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in a STEM field
• Professional Experience – Five years experience (preferred) in a STEM-related field, preferably teaching at the secondary or post-secondary levels.
• Experience in project coordination
• Experience in event planning
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Able to work independently and as a team member
