Professor of Public Policy
Harvard University
Kennedy School of Government

The Harvard Kennedy School seeks to appoint a professor of public policy with special interests in energy policy to teach, lead and conduct research, mentor graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, and engage with other faculty, policymakers, and the public.

Job Requirements

Requirements include a Doctorate in a relevant field (e.g., natural science, engineering, economics, political science or public policy) with strong capacity to integrate methods and insights across disciplinary boundaries and a record of research and scholarly publication with a focus on energy policy, technology innovation strategy, energy systems analysis, or a combination of these.

Relevant teaching experience is desirable, as are close substantive familiarity with one or more of the global challenges related to energy policy (e.g., climate change, energy security, energy regulation, energy for economic development) and previous or current engagement with public- and private-sector as well as international perspectives on these issues.
