Applications are invited for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level at the Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing, Ryerson University beginning August 1, 2010. This position is subject to budgetary approval.

Applicants for this tenure-track position should demonstrate career goals that involve teaching in a baccalaureate and/or graduate program while maintaining an active nursing research agenda focused on the advancement of nursing leadership, health-care policy and education, the health of individuals, families, communities and global populations, or informatics.

Job Requirements

Candidates will have experience and expertise in a variety of nursing domains and methodological research approaches, possess (or be eligible for) registration as an RN with the College of Nurses of Ontario, and hold a master’s degree in Nursing (preferable), Health Sciences or equivalent, and a PhD with an identified program of research (those applicants earlier in their scientific career with a postdoc in progress or completed will also be considered).
