The Peninsula Medical School is seeking to appoint an individual with a strong research record in Clinical or Health related Psychology to take up the post of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Human Sciences (Psychology). The Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry has contemporary and highly regarded medical and dental undergraduate programmes and an exceptional research track record and is committed to excellence in both teaching and research.

The post holder is expected to contribute to both research and teaching (50:50) including teaching/curriculum development and curriculum leadership/management. The post will be carefully line managed to ensure that a managed portfolio is achieved. The contribution to each teaching area at the start of the appointment is dependent on each candidate’s experience, qualifications and interests.

Salary will be on the Lecturer salary scale range £31,513 - £38,757 or Senior Lecturer salary scale £38,757 to £52,086 per annum. Appointment on the scale will be determined by knowledge, skills and experience, and will be clarified following interview.

This is a University of Exeter appointment.

Job Requirements

PhD or equivalent in a relevant area.
Fellow of Higher Education Academy (or obtained within 1 year of appointment).
