Spring 2010 Adjunct Faculty
Business, Math, Technology, Science, Medical
York County Community College

York County Community College is currently accepting résumés for adjunct instructors for day and/or evening availability at the Wells Campus and also at the satellite location in Kittery. These are non-benefited positions with teaching assignments on a course-by-course, semester-to-semester basis.

Instructors are needed in the following areas:

Business Department
Macroeconomics (Monday & Wednesday 8:00 – 9:15 a.m.)
A Master's degree in the field or a closely related field is required. Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Math Department
College level and pre-college level algebra courses. Day and Evening sections available. Must have previous college level teaching experience. Masters degree in Math required for college level courses.

Technology Department
Computer Applications, Solid Modeling II (INVENTOR), Windows Server Administration, Computer Hardware, Network Essentials, Video Editing, Digital Animation, and Web Development. Ideal candidates should have a Masters degree, industry certifications, 3+ years of work experience, and previous teaching experience. A Bachelor’s degree in the field or a closely related field is required, Master’s preferred. Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Science & Allied Health Department:
Anatomy & Physiology I. Topics include anatomical terminology, cell structure and function, tissue organization and the skeletal, muscular and nervous systems, including the special senses. Prior teaching experience at the community college or college level is preferred. A Ph.D. or M.S. in the Biological Sciences.

Medical Office Administration
A bachelor's degree in a related medical field (Medical Assisting, Medical Office Administration, Registered Nurse) or an Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting with current certification and two to five year's experience as a Medical Assistant.
