Jefferson Community College

Located near Lake Ontario and the beautiful Thousand Islands region of Upstate New York, Jefferson Community College is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the Dean for Enrollment. The Dean will lead the Enrollment Services team consolidated in the newly renovated, student-focused center.

The successful candidate will provide vision and strategic leadership for enrollment and work collaboratively with the college community to meet institutional goals. The Dean oversees all enrollment functions including student recruitment, admissions, financial aid, student records, and new student advising.

Critical to this position are an understanding of enrollment management trends and issues related to developing and achieving enrollment goals, solid marketing and technology skills, an ability to make data-driven decisions, and an optimistic outlook with a creative approach to problem solving. The successful candidate will have a track record of enrollment successes, progressively responsible higher education leadership and management experience, and strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.

Job Requirements


  • Master’s degree.
  • Five years’ appropriate professional experience


  • Progressive leadership in higher education with focused experience in the area of admissions, financial aid, student records, advising, enrollment, or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students, staff and faculty to achieve results.
