The Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee invites applications for a Lecturer in Finance to begin in Fall 2017.
We are looking for a colleague devoted to full-time teaching. Salary is competitive and the appointment will be toward indefinite status (the equivalent of tenure-track for a lecturer position).
The primary responsibilities in this position will be to provide teaching excellence in Finance at the Lubar School of Business for a four (4) course load per semester. Additionally, the selected candidate will be willing to potentially teach some classes in an online format and contribute to the mission of the Lubar School by mentoring and advising students, and providing service to the area and School through committee service and other shared governance activities.
Qualified candidates will possess a Ph.D. in Business or a related field with specialization in Finance or Economics. Required qualifications also include demonstrated teaching excellence in the Finance area. Candidates with anticipated Ph.D. completion by August 2017 will also be considered.
Preferred qualifications include excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preference will be given to candidates with experience forming lasting partnerships with members of the Business Community.
