Tenure Track Faculty Position in Biomedical Engineering

The Department of Biomedical Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University seeks exceptional applicants for a tenure-track faculty position. Outstanding candidates will be considered at all academic ranks and across all areas of Biomedical Engineering, including (but not limited to) neuroscience, genomics, regenerative medicine, imaging, computational biology, data-intensive science, and biomechanics.
Opportunities for interactions across the University include collaboration with clinical experts at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institution as well as numerous affiliated Institutes and Centers, including the Center for Imaging Science, the Institute for Computational Medicine, the Translational Tissue Engineering Center, the Kavli Neuroscience Discovery Institute, the Malone Center for Engineering in Healthcare, the Laboratory for Computational Sensing and Robotics, the Carnegie Center for Surgical Innovation, the Center for Language and Speech Processing, and the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in engineering or a related field and will be expected to establish a strong, independent, multidisciplinary, and internationally recognized research program.
Commitment to teaching excellence at undergraduate and graduate levels is required
