Assistant Professor - Health, Health Services, and Epidemiol (Tenure Track)

We are seeking candidates who have a demonstrated ability in scholarly activities in population health, health services, and epidemiology as evidenced by established or developing research initiatives; a strong or emerging research program; experience in working with large administrative data bases as well as a strong commitment to working within a research intensive, academic health setting. Demonstration of effective classroom teaching skills and mentorship as well as experiences in teaching using a variety of pedagogical methods are expected. In light of the increasing interest in providing experiential learning opportunities in the undergraduate medical curriculum such as Making the Links (www.makingthelinks.usask.ca/) as well as in using distributed learning technologies, experience and interest in working in underserved areas (rural, remote, inner-city) and with marginalized populations in Canada or elsewhere would be very desirable and build on the department’s strengths.
Assistant Professor: $93,293 to $112,109; Associate Professor: $112,109 to $130,925; and Professor $130,925 to $152,877.
