Responsible for providing executive level leadership for diverse programs and services related to student development. Performs highly responsible administrative and professional level work in directing. Work may involve planning, organizing, controlling and developing programs for areas of counseling, assessment, career placement, student financial aid, admissions, student programs, student government, veterans affairs, recruitment and retention or enrollment management, and women’s programs. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for directing the student disciplinary and grievance process.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Demonstrated capacity to interface effectively and efficiently with internal and external constituents, including president, faculty, student, staff, and legislators, as well as business leaders, representatives of the media, community groups. The candidate must also demonstrate strong interpersonal, supervisory, and communication skills. Proven ability to interact effectively with individuals and teams from diverse backgrounds. The ability to provide quality customer service.

Minimum Knowledge and Experience
Earned doctorate preferred: Masters is required and four (4) years of experience as an administrator in community college, higher education institution, and/or related environment. Official transcripts will be required. *** Will be subject to a criminal background check. Some positions may be subject to a fingerprint check. ***
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
