Must have substantial experience leading Office 365 system in large enterprise including Active Directory integration, PowerShell management.  DCCCD Office 365 tenant has more than 100,000 active student accounts and 7,500 active employee accounts.  Will also serve as Office 365 adoption champion.

Position Type

Position Summary
Under limited supervision provides complex systems support to the activities and resources required to provide quality computer operations processing and applications system resource management and availability. Works with server(s) that support various District modules and/or systems. Responsible for large-scale set-up and implementation of standards for computer operations and use of software support tools to process scheduling, reports, report generation, database administration, system data backups, performance tuning, and security. Serves as an expert technical resource person and provides information that involves long term planning and technology strategy.

Job Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and operating environments. Proven knowledge of all facets of complex network system environments. Advanced experience with server performance tuning and monitoring tools. Effective management and supervisory skills. Knowledge of storage and backup technologies. Strong troubleshooting skills. Ability to assess situations, obtaining necessary information, drawing conclusions and recommended and/or implementing courses of action in accord with normal practices and procedures. Proven analytical and problem solving abilities. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with a wide variety of external professionals and in-house staff from diverse backgrounds. Strong knowledge and experience providing effective customer service.

Physical Requirements
May be required to lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Minimum Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor's degree or higher plus five years of experience in a complex network system environment or Associate’s degree plus seven years’ experience in a complex network system environment. Official transcript will be required. ***Will be subject to a criminal background check.  Some positions may be subject to a fingerprint check. ***
