Job Description

Tyler Haynes Professorship of Interdisciplinary Studies
University of Richmond

The University of Richmond Jepson School of Leadership Studies and School of Law invite nominations and applications for an endowed professorship to be shared between the two schools.

We seek candidates with a distinguished record of scholarship and teaching, or a similarly distinguished record of public service, and we anticipate an appointment at the full professor level. The ideal candidate will have earned J. D. and Ph.D. degrees, although we are open to considering candidates who have one or the other.

Our vision is for the Tyler Haynes Professor to conduct interdisciplinary research and teach in an interdisciplinary environment. To complement current strengths, we are especially interested in candidates whose research interests lie in the criminal justice system, the Supreme Court, healthcare, housing, immigration, social welfare, education policy, or institutional design and analysis, although any area of interest with crossover appeal to law and leadership will be considered. Successful candidates will teach courses in the Jepson School of Leadership Studies and the School of Law.
