The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a University Testing Center (UTC) Coordinator. This position is responsible for establishing and managing a testing center at the University of Nevada, Reno and overseeing the administration of exams for academic courses.
Other duties include, but are not limited to: coordinating with faculty who wish to offer computerized testing; affiliating with state and national professional testing organizations in order to stay current and knowledgeable about innovative ideas or trends; administering placement exams and assessments, and offering contracted exam services for third party entities; developing and managing all aspects of the UTC, including policy and procedure development, testing standards, academic integrity, proctor oversight, establishment and management of the facility, equipment and software, and center operations including human resources management and budgeting; serving as a liaison to third-party agencies such as testing-system vendors and third-party entities using testing services; building a successful testing center, with the expectation that the UTC will generate revenue to help support the mission of the UTC; creating appropriate environments pursuant to National College Testing (NCTA) guidelines; offering workshops or presentations to inform Colleges, departments, faculty, students and staff of the services provided by the UTC; negotiating contracts; and other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree and two years or a Master’s Degree and one year of related experience.
Academic integrity, testing center experience in higher education, operations management, or other directly related experience.
