Tenure-track Position in Computational Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty appointment as assistant, associate, or full professor commencing September 2019 to teach at New Jersey City University (NJCU) William J. Maxwell College of Arts & Sciences.
Candidates should have an earned doctorate in Chemistry or a related field, with a concentration or extensive work in Computational Chemistry.
Candidates should provide evidence of excellence in teaching and an active research agenda that would involve undergraduate students at an urban comprehensive university such as NJCU. The successful applicant will be required to teach courses at the undergraduate level. In addition, candidates will be expected to develop new programs and course offerings at the undergraduate level for the Chemistry Department, and maintain an active and sustained research agenda in their respective field, with publications in peer-reviewed journals and presses.
Candidates familiar with various molecular dynamics simulation packages or modeling suites and experience in programming or scripting with expertise in cheminformatics, nanomaterials, and interactions of biological molecules are preferred and encouraged to apply.
