The Department of Integrative Biology at the University of South Florida (USF), Tampa (http://biology.usf.edu/ib) seeks to fill two 9-month, full-time and tenure-earning, Assistant Professor positions, one in Plant Biology and one in Marine Biology.

For the plant biology position, we are looking for candidates with a strong background in one or more of the following areas: climate change, population biology, modeling, plant ecophysiology, plant-animal interactions, plant-microbe interactions, ecosystem function, and evolution.

For the marine biology position, we seek an individual with a contemporary research focus on any aspect of marine biology, and the full range of ecosystems and taxa, that complements and broadens our current faculty expertise.

Job Requirements

Candidates are expected to establish a strong externally-funded research program and contribute to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate level. A Ph.D. in a relevant field and appropriate post-doctoral training are required.
