Exec Dir, Marketing & Communication Enrollment

Directs the planning, development, and implementation of a comprehensive marketing and communication plan for Enrollment Services. Partners with members of the university community to provide strategic leadership for student enrollment for the University of Houston.
Provides leadership and oversight in the planning, design, production and implementation of Enrollment Services media to increase the University's visibility; including the creative vision for marketing strategies for the Office of Admissions, Scholarships and Financial Aid, and the University Registrar.
Manages the creation of the marketing plan for Enrollment Services, provides best practices for recruitment, marketing strategies, and the development of customer based management tools.
Oversees internal and external communications to prospective students, applicants, admits and enrolled students through multiple media methods, including the Customer Relationship Management tool.
Coordinates the on-going assessment and evaluation of current marketing and communications efforts; monitors publications, web sites and promotions to ensure they reflect University initiatives.
Monitors the operating budget in accordance with university policies and procedures and ensures compliance with federal and state rules and regulations.
Responsible for the recruitment, training, and evaluation of department staff.
Serves as the official liaison between Enrollment Services and other university departments in the development and production of outreach materials and communication.
Participates on a variety of university committees as required.
Performs other job related duties as required.
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years experience.
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
Requires a minimum of five (5) years of directly job-related experience.
Master's Degree Preferred.
