The Capital Campaign Manager position is a full-time professional/managerial position. Through the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual, corporate, foundation, and other donors and prospects, the Capital Campaign Manager is accountable for planning, implementing, and evaluating the overall success of the Pensacola State College comprehensive capital campaign.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of all development activities tied to the campaign. They will develop relationships with major donors and legacy givers; create strategies to secure ongoing significant sources of private/unrestricted funds, endowments, planned gifts, and naming opportunities; build a successful volunteer cabinet to ensure access to and successful asks from key leaders, foundations, and philanthropic donors; write proposals and grants in support of major campaign gifts; provide oversight and manage campaign activities, including mail or electronic appeals, special events, invitational events and round tables, and ribbon cuttings where needed. This position reports to the Executive Director of Institutional Development.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from a regionally accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in a related area of specialization and seven years of fundraising/development experience, two years supervisory experience, and five years’ experience and demonstrated success in major gift fundraising. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer experience in higher education fundraising, strategic planning experience, and experience with constituent relationship management software system (Raiser’s Edge preferred).

SALARY RANGE: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 (Depending on the qualifications, the salary is negotiable.)
