Faculty Position in Sociology
Bluffton University

Bluffton University invites applications for a full time, tenure track faculty position in Sociology to begin fall semester 2019.

Teach undergraduate courses in sociology and an affiliated discipline related to social work, criminology, or restorative justice.

Preference also given to candidates with experience teaching online courses.

The faculty member will support and strengthen a cooperative sociology major among sister institutions. Actively participate in scholarly activity, student advising and mentoring, student recruiting, and campus and community service.

Job Requirements

Ph.D. preferred (ABD or masterís considered) in sociology.

Preference given to candidates with professional experience or additional degrees in social work, criminal justice, or restorative justice. Demonstrate excellence in teaching.
