Director, Finance and Business Operations, PSC Foundation - Job #2658

The Director, Finance and Business Operations oversees the daily financial and fiscal operations of the Foundation including cash management, accounts payable, and the purchasing card program.
The Director manages the monthly and year-end closing including analysis and verification of assets, revenues, expenses and fund balances as well as the promulgation and management of the Foundation budget. Additionally, the Director supervises, reviews, and prepares financial analysis and reports required for internal reporting as well as external auditing and reporting, prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, develops the appropriate internal control procedures to ensure the effective and efficient operations within governing laws and/or regulations, coordinates the Collegeís scholarship management system, serves as the business manager overseeing fee based income and vendor relationships in regards to rental properties and dormitories. This position reports to the Executive Director of Institutional Development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from a regionally accredited institution with a masterís degree in accounting or closely related field and three years progressively responsible work experience in the accounting field; or a bachelorís degree in accounting and five years progressively responsible work experience in the accounting field. Supervisory and budgeting experience is necessary. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer Certified Public Accountant (CPA); Certified Non-profit Accounting Professional (CNAP); higher education and/or nonprofit accounting experience; and skills and experience with software for fiscal and related management applications.
SALARY RANGE: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 (Depending on the qualifications, the salary is negotiable.)
