The Program Director, Educational Opportunity Center will plan, develop, and administer a broad-based educational opportunity center that functions harmoniously with area post-secondary institutions and other agency programs and activities. The Program Director will administer the program budget, compile and submit all required reports; train and supervise program staff; and be responsible for the management of all data pertaining to program participants.
Additionally, the successful candidate will establish and maintain relationships with area secondary and post-secondary institutions and other programs to ensure cooperative referrals; define and articulate the values, purposes, and objectives of the program; prepare required reports, conduct surveys, represent the TRIO program to college administration. The Program Director is responsible for academic program development and execution of a broad cultural enrichment program. This position reports to the Dean, Grants and Federal Programs. This is a grant funded-position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited institution with a masterís degree in education, social work, or closely related field, and two years full time experience in administering a similar program or similar work in post-secondary educational programs are required. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer experience working with large budgets, grant writing experience, and experience using Google Docs.
SALARY RANGE: $41,820.00
