Assistant Professor of Literacy, the University of Memphis Position #001295. Required qualifications include doctorate in Literacy, Reading, or a closely related field, and evidence of an established research agenda and publication record. Responsibilities are to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in literacy pedagogy and theory, and pursue a productive research agenda.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses in literacy pedagogy and theory.
- Continue a focused and documented program of scholarly research and publication.
- Supervise research of advanced graduate students.
- Chair and serve on masterís and doctoral committees.
- Participate in national professional organizations.
- Provide university, college, and department service.
- Obtain external funding.
