The person in this position will: configure, maintain, support and develop for SharePoint 2013-2016 systems; monitor web server and system logs; perform systems administration and routine maintenance on District web site servers, including software; develop, test and evaluate new software for Web servers; provide support and troubleshoot web-related problems for the District's web sites; and assist in the installation of patches and hardware upgrades for the District web site servers.

Position Summary

Responsible for providing analysis, design, coding, development, testing, documentation and implementation to support enterprise software systems and Web based solutions. Provides technical and analytical solutions to problems with the use of development tools.

Job Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Thorough knowledge of structured and/or objection-oriented programming techniques and ability to test application programming (e.g. SQL server and C# .Net).† Ability in maintaining system documentation.† Working knowledge of project development methodologies; project management procedures.† Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.† Ability to work in a team of developers on diverse projects.† Ability to collaborate with other programmers to design and implement features.† Skilled in writing program code.† Ability to analyze and solve complex problems; coordinate, plan and schedule; test and implement programs; review and evaluate technical information.† Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.† Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.† Strong knowledge and experience providing effective customer service.

Physical Requirements

Normal physical job functions performed within a standard office environment.† Reasonable accommodations may be made to individuals with physical challenges to perform the essential duties and responsibilities.† Occasionally may be required to lift and carry materials weighing up to 30 pounds.

Minimum Knowledge and Experience
Bachelorís Degree with three (3) years of experience in related field.† Must have current and valid driverís license required for off-site travel.† On-call, work hours may extend beyond the regular, eight hours, Monday-Friday, workday, including weekends and holidays to provide immediate support due to system failures on a 24/7 basis. Official transcripts will be required.† ***Will be subject to a criminal background. Some positions may be subject to a fingerprint test. ***

Preferred Skills:†

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013-2016, SharePoint Online
- Experience developing web applications in C#.NET, REST, JSON
- Experience with Windows Server 2008-2016, maintenance and administration
- IIS 7.0+ Administration experience
- Customer and technical support experience
