The D’Youville Department of Business invites applications for a tenure-track position beginning August 1, 2019.
We seek candidates who possess the requisite education and experience to instruct courses primarily in the topic areas of accounting and corporate finance but who are also able and willing to instruct other traditional undergraduate and graduate-level business courses.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can provide evidence of prior teaching at the college level, who have shown an aptitude for scholarship, and who embody the necessary experience/skill set to instruct online courses that meet Quality Matters standards.
The teaching load is four courses per semester.
Reporting to the Chair, the successful candidate will teach courses as assigned, represent the Department of Business on academic committees, maintain an active research agenda, contribute to curriculum development, provide mentorship and academic advisement to students, and provide service to the college and community.
D’Youville is a small private liberal arts college located on the beautiful banks of Lake Erie in Buffalo, NY. Nestled near the base of the Peace Bridge (that connects New York to Canada), D’Youville has been educating the leaders of tomorrow since 1908.

The most desired candidate will hold a PhD or advanced certification (e.g., CFP, CPA). The minimum qualification is an earned MBA at time of hire.
