Wayne State University and its Physician Group is recruiting a Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join aleading, academicpractice located in Detroit, Michigan.The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine offers the latest technology and expertise for women experiencing high-risk and complicated pregnancies. Our faculty provide expert evaluation and highly specialized care from pre-conception and prenatal consultation to a host of technologically-advanced techniquesand co-management for pregnancies with maternal and/or fetal complications.
Education and training of medical students, residents and fellows are an integral part of the Department mission.The Department has trained academic and clinical leaders worldwide, is a nationally recognized leader in academic medicine,and consistently ranks as one of the top federally funded OB/GYN departments in the country.Department faculty collaborate with the Perinatology Research Branch (PRB), sponsored by the NIH and Wayne State University, to conduct groundbreaking research and provide a Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship with a 26 year history of excellence.
The successful candidate will participate in teaching programs of rotating medical students, residents and fellows of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and participate in scholarly activities in the area of Obstetrics and Gynecology specializing in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
