The Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of Pacific invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice beginning July 2019.
A strong background in general pharmacotherapy and pharmacy practice is required. Candidates with specialty practice backgrounds will also be strongly considered. The person in this position will teach in the pharmacotherapy courses, case-based courses, and pharmacy skills courses in the Pharm.D. curriculum. This is a tenure track position. In addition to teaching, scholarly activity and service on departmental, school and university committees are expected.
A Pharm.D. with residency, or equivalent practice experience is required. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in California.
Ability to teach in areas such as women's health, men's health, dermatology, cardiology, and/or immunotherapeutics is desirable.
