Teaches students effectively in Accounting classes and maintains office hours for student consultation.
North Lake College seeks qualified accounting adjunct instructors to teach early college high school and dual credit accounting courses as needed. We specifically seek instructors willing to teach at our North Lake College North and South Campuses as well as at local high schools in a variety of course settings such as hybrid and face to face.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with students of varying diverse backgrounds. Demonstrated skills in successfully working with diverse populations through experiences such as formal training and past work experiences. The ability to provide quality customer service.
May be required to lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Minimum Knowledge and Experience
Master’s degree or higher and at least 18 graduate hours in the Accounting.
Official transcripts will be required at time of interview. ***Will be subject to a criminal background check. Some positions may be subject to a fingerprint check.***
In addition to required Master's in Accounting, a Bachelor's in Accounting is preferred.
