Position Summary:
IT Service and Delivery. The Audio-Visual Service Manager provides oversight for a team of staff which will provide support, maintenance, and installation services in audio-visual technology for the Armstrong, Liberty and Statesboro campuses. This position manages specific projects to enhance instructional experiences for faculty and students.

Essential Functions

  • Provides oversight of support and installation services in instructional settings.
  • Plans and executes proposed projects within designated time constraints.
  • Executes escalation of issues to vendors/manufacturers.
  • Maintains detailed inventory of audio-visual equipment for repair and installation projects.
  • Maintains training materials and knowledge base for AV training endeavors and support.
  • Enhances and maintains internal relationships within the IT Services' Division to expedite resolution of issues.
  • Identifies areas of improvement through continual assessment, reviewing of metrics, and customer engagement.

    Associate’s Degree

    Minimum Experience Required:
    Five or more years of related work experience

    Could a level of education higher than the minimum required for the position substitute for the minimum level of job-related experience?: No

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    Effective communication (verbal and written); organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; legally authorized to work in the United States; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment

    Preferred Education:


    Preferred Experience::
    Five or more years of experience working within an AV support, management, or installation role or a combination of these roles

    Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
