Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Other requirements include excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work with students and staff with varying diverse backgrounds and learning styles. Demonstrated skills in successfully working with diverse populations through experiences such as formal training and past work experiences. The ability to provide quality customer service.

Minimum Knowledge and Experience
Credential in EMS, current state credential/licensure and an associate degree or higher in a related field or in Paramedics. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Three years of nonteaching, work-related experience. Official transcripts will be required at time of interview. ***Will be subject to a criminal background check. Some positions may be subject to a fingerprint check.***
Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or terminal degree
Experience teaching in EMS Education at the EMT-Basic or Paramedic level
Texas EMS Instructor (ACLS Certified, ACLS Instructor, BLS Certified, BLS Instructor, PEPP, PALS, or EPC certified, PEPP, PALS, or EPC Instructor)
