Assistant Professor of Kinesiology Motor Neuroscience

The Division of Kinesiology within the Department of Health & Kinesiology and College of Education and Human Development at Texas A&M University is accepting applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. The Division offers BS, MS and PhD degrees.
We are seeking candidates who are well versed in motor neuroscience capable of conducting independent basic or translational research. Candidates will be emerging scholars capable of advancing a solid research agenda to progress the Division’s strong and expanding research portfolio.
The candidate will become an integral part of the Division of Kinesiology’s faculty, with expectations to engage in research efforts including interdisciplinary collaborations, aggressively seek funding opportunities, provide research mentorship for graduate and undergraduate students, as well as teach graduate/undergraduate courses. Specific courses taught will be determined based on faculty content expertise and experience, as well as need of the academic unit. All tenure-track faculty are expected to teach six credit hours per semester, but reductions are granted for Assistant Professors and those utilizing external grant funds.
