Director of Learning Assistance
South Orange County Community College District
To plan, develop, organize, coordinate, direct, review and evaluate the programs, services, operations, activities, staff, students and facilities of a community college Learning Resource Center Tutoring Program and Interdisciplinary Computer Center; prepare and administer annual program budgets; ensure compliance with District policies and applicable State and federal regulations related to areas of assignment, coordinate activities with other divisions and departments, select, hire, train, schedule, supervise and evaluate assigned staff; and provide responsible administrative support to the Dean of Online Education and Learning Resources in order to provide a quality program that assists students in their educational needs.
Education and Experience Guidelines:
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
A Masterís degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework or emphasis in education or related field.
At least five years of increasingly responsible experience instructing, tutoring and assisting in the instruction of adults.
