Position Status: Full-Time

Position Summary:
College of Education. The Eagle Academy Director oversees the operations of the Inclusive Post-Secondary Education (IPSE) program providing authentic learning experiences as well as professional development. This is a 10-month position.

Essential Functions

  • Provides operational and programmatic support in all facets of the strategic planning process.
  • Manages daily program activities and oversees students and mentors.
  • Conducts student centered planning; facilitates college student field experiences and participation.
  • Monitors the academic progress and social development of program participants.
  • Coordinates program services, activities, workshops, and special events.
  • Recruits future students and program outreach and builds position relationships with students.
  • Collects, analyzes, and reports program data.

    Effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; legally authorized to work in the United States; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment

    Preferred Education:

    Preferred Experience::
    Three or more years of experience working with individuals with disabilities; previous experience with transition and/or inclusive post-secondary education programs

    Salary Range: $39,855 - $49,798
